Adanac Begins Prefeasibility Study For Ruby Creek

Mill and infrastructure
The mining and minerals division of Wardrop Engineering Inc. will undertake the mill and
infrastructure prefeasibility for the Ruby Creek molybdenum project. Wardrop is a full-service
engineering company that celebrated 50 years of service in the beginning of 2005. It has been
providing services to the Canadian industry for most of that time. Wardrop has offices in
Vancouver, Saskatoon, Toronto, Sudbury and Thunder Bay, and continues to expand the provision
of project development services, in Canada and worldwide.
Mine design and rock slope stability
This contract has been awarded to Golder Associates Ltd., an international group of consulting
companies that provides engineering and support services for all phases of mine development and
operation, including preliminary scoping studies and detailed feasibility analysis, through mine
development and operations, as well as mine closure and site rehabilitation. Besides preparing
mine production feasibility studies, Golder is recognized as a leader in resource and reserve
evaluation, geotechnical analysis, mine waste-fill design, environmental consulting, and safety
training. Many Golder staff can be called upon to act as qualified persons or competent persons,
as defined by worldwide regulatory agencies, while acting in the role of independent engineer.
Golder has been in operation for over 40 years and has more than 3,500 staff in over 100 offices
across Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.
Tailings and site geotechnical designs
The contract was awarded to Klohn Crippen Consultants Ltd. of Vancouver, B.C., which provides
engineering and environmental services for mines in Canada and internationally. Klohn Crippen
has pioneered safe management of tailings and waste rock in British Columbia since the 1970s
and is a recognized leader in the design of tailings dams. It is presently responsible for
baseline environmental studies and the environmental impact assessment for the Ruby Creek
project. This work will be seamlessly integrated with the waste management engineering.

this initial stage of development engineering for the Ruby Creek project.
